Welcome to The Strategy Office.
Nice to meet you! I’m Emily Holtz, and I founded The Strategy Office to help purpose-driven organizations in the public and social sectors elevate their strategy development and execution capabilities, transform their ways of working, and deliver greater impact.
Over the years I have worked with state and local government organizations, as well as education and nonprofit organizations, as a strategy consultant and a project leader. I have also served in management and leadership roles in the private sector, contributing across a variety of disciplines including strategy, operations, customer experience, and analytics. I love helping organizations identify opportunities, craft actionable strategies and solutions, and execute effectively to realize positive changes.
When I reflect on my career journey, the parts that have brought me the most fulfillment have been the collaborations with leaders and teams at purpose-driven organizations, where our shared goal has been to deliver better experiences and outcomes for constituents and stakeholders. I like to imagine what the world would be like if we all focused our time and energy on delivering societal value rather than shareholder value. What a world that would be!
